Battery Chargers for Electric Wheelchairs and Scooters
These are the first wheelchair battery chargers to be manufactured with user replaceable connection cords. The chargers work on 120VAC or 240VAC, with AC cords available for any country. Likewise, the charger can fit your chair with DC cords available for any chair. Choose the pair of cords you need. If you travel to another country you may order the correct AC power cord from us, or obtain it locally, as the AC connector on the charger is the international standard connector used on computers. These chargers can be used with any type deep cycle lead acid battery including conventional flooded, sealed, valve regulated, starved electrolyte, or gelled type batteries. Compact: dimensions are 6.0"L x 6.5"W x 5.25"H. There are three series of chargers that represent differing levels of intelligence in the way they approach battery charging.
Charging cycle preceded by battery evaluation to determine charging program to fit the battery's need. Constant current for bulk charge, switching to timed constant voltage and then to float/monitor. Can be left on battery for extended periods of time.
Replaceable connection cords. AC cordset for North America or another country at user's option. Rear switch to select 120 or 240 volts AC. Choose the DC cordset to fit your equipment.
Reverse polarity and short circuit proof.
Fully automatic - cannot overcharge or damage the battery.
Temperature compensated to give the correct charge for varying conditions.
Low voltage start: will start charging a fully discharged battery.
Will recycle on AC power off.
LED readout for charging status.
ML series - Smarter
ML 524----- 5 AMP 24 VOLT
Fully automatic-constant voltage, current limited charge then shifts to float/monitor. Can be left on battery for extended periods of time.
Replaceable connection cords. AC cordset for North America or another country at user's option. Rear switch to select 120 or 240 volts AC. Choose the DC cordset to fit your equipment.
Reverse polarity and short circuit proof.
Will recycle on AC power off.
Low voltage start: will start charging a deeply discharged battery with less than 2 volts.
LED readout for charging status.
MLC series - Smart
MLC7024------ 8 AMP 12 VOLT
Automatic - Current tapers and will maintain battery at set voltage.
Replaceable connection cords. Choose the DC cordset to fit your equipment.
Adjustable cutoff voltage.
Temperature compensated to give the correct charge for varying conditions.
Will begin charging a battery discharged to 2/3 nominal voltage.
